I prepared this post yesterday

"I'm So Happy I Can Dance" by The Salteens, Jack Black

But I didn't have time to sleep and so let me tell you about what is now yesterday!

So, it was the last day of school EVER and I needed more signatures for my yearbook. So I went to school. All the other seniors weren't there because they were all like:
Ummm, yah.
Don't get me wrong I don't resent them for it. If they want to go around pretending like they're grown (-_-) fine by me...
Umm... Need some ice for that burn?
But no seriously, I don't care. The fact that my classmates drink and party says nothing horrifyingly bad about them. At least not in my eyes.

Let's change the focus to me. So... What did I do after prom. Why the super happy super song? Well. During Harmonizers I noticed that Broadway was crying. This is because it was the last day for her to see me and any of the other few seniors there on a typical school day. So after failing to intercept Critic on the way to his car, Broadway's sister, Amy Rose, invited me to hang out at her abode. She was already bringing over The Motley Crew so why not add another house guest?
Hey. Just stoppin' by... heheh...
In a way it was kind of like my own personal after prom. Minus the tonics of course. I got to meet Broadway's puppy, Lil' Muffet. He was the most adorable thing ever, and constantly licked my face to the ends of the universe. There is another side to Lil' Muffet though. If he doesn't get his way, he'll attack. And he holds grudges too. Broadway was placed into two epic battles with him. Over a scarf. He noticed the scarf Broadway was wearing and wanted to play with it. But Broadway, caring a great deal about her scarves, put it in an unreachable place. Lil' Muffet turned into a jumping jackal of justice. (I say justice because Lil' Muffet wanted that scarf and didn't think it was fair that he couldn't tear it to pieces.)

You best give me dat scarf!
And Broadway was out matched by the sheer speed of Lil' Muffet. So when she finally got him in his house she was like:
DONE BEYOND COMPREHENSION
So after watching some fierce British people with Broadway, I ate pizza with The Motley Crew and watched the most ambiguous movie ever with Hipster, Broadway, and a Koala on my neck. So yeah. I'm glad I got to hang with Broadway on the last day of school. I had a really REALLY fun day.

Look I know it's technically tomorrow but...

"Scatman (ski-ba-bop-ba-dop-bop) (Extended radio version)" by Scatman John

Look, I'm technically behind again... BUT I AIN'T BEHIND! Prom was tonight! Give me a break! mkay? Mkay. So why such a fun song? Because Prom was super fun! So I'll start from the beginning.

So I was getting dressed and stuff and all was going well. Until I had a little run in with that dastardly clip on rental tie. Seriously, when they measure your neck they get you a tie that only gives you juuust enough room to breath. I spent forty minutes trying to put that thing on. FORTY MINUTES. Then when I finally did get it on it was not-quite-choking me to death. Swallowing was a bad idea because then the tie would brutally attack my Adam's Apple an extremely uncomfortable situation.

My neck is still sore from that tie.
So after that ordeal I was picked up and transported to the limo pick-up place.WE went to take pictures somewhere nice but then it started raining. So we tried to take pictures under the umbrellas. We looked quite silly, so we took the limo somewhere that had a roof and everyone, parents and siblings and half-cousins-twice-removed took 1,000 pictures each. I personally don't get it. It's just prom...

Then we sat in the limo again... at this point I was ready to go to sleep because posing and smiling for what feels like ten hours is tiring... we got to West Point and they had us in the waiting area for like three days.

...umm...when is prom happening?
Then we sat down in the main area and ate some sub-parr food. They didn't even have salt for the mashed potatoes. HOW CAN YOU NOT PROVIDE SALT FOR MASHED POTATOES?!?!?!? That's like saying "Oh this car suits you well!" Then you buy the car and it's got no engine!

Then came the reason why I even went to prom... The dancing. Here is a little visual of the dance floor.

everyone.

ME.
No seriously, I left that dance floor ON FIYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

And then we got candy, sat in the limo, and now I blog before you.  So yeah. It rained on prom which kinda sucked. The food was nothing to brag about either. BUT THE DANCING, OH LORD THAT DANCING MADE UP FOR ALL OF IT. My date Dabrill said I did a good job. I held her stuff and shielded her from the rain, things men in suits usually do.

Yep, that was prom.

I KNOW  KNOW IT'S 1 AM I'M ON IT!!!

Ok now I got time.

"Air" by Philter

Imma sittin' here wit ma stir fry, and I'm ready to Rolling Rock on the Rocking Roller! Ok, so I don't know what to post about. So I'll talk about my day. So I spent the day with Motherbot bonding and stuff. and we went to the city and I ate this beautiful salmon. It was one of those perfect days. One of the most reflective as well. So why this song, with inexplicable depth and simple yet mysterious rhythm. Well, I was in NYC with my mother and it hit me. Like a truckfull of reflection and revelation. A truckfull of stuff I'd been thinking about all day. Motherbot triggered it with her remark over lunch "This place is so you, don't you think so?" And Then the flood. I realized that this actually is the last week of high school.

Damn.

But I guess this is how it always ends right? Like a Broadway run of a show or something. You spend so much of your time doing the same routine and then you realize that this is the last week.

Wow.

But then I went to speech and it was the last meeting of the school year and I mooched off of a public event with Minnie Mouse probably for the last time this year. And I encountered Woosh Woman (YES. YOU'RE WOOSH WOMAN.) hanging out in the spot where I've hung out so many times. And I thought, "Enjoy it while it lasts" because sooner or later she'll be in the same area mooching off the same food and in the same spot of the cafeteria looking at an underclassman hanging in her spot. Thinking those exact same words.

Change.

It's happening. And there is no stopping it. I am completely aware of that. I am happy to say I have no regrets. Then, when the meeting actually started Mentor had everyone talk about me not only in front of me but TO me. And that's the stuff that makes me tear up. Because here I am thinking it's another day in the office and WHAM! There is this sudden manifestation of gratitude for stuff that I normally don't even think about. I guess I didn't realize the impact I had on everyone, and I still don't see the full impact. Here are all these underclassmen telling me how I INSPIRED and EMPOWERED them to join the speech team: something that requires extreme time and commitment. I was thinking more modest verbs should be used like "encouraged" but I not the one who determines the intensity of my impact on others. Well, yes I do, I just always underestimate it.

My mom and I had a conversation a while back. It was about light and dark and the connection between all of humanity. She talked about how our individual pursuits bring us all together and about our "life roles" per say. She said that she is a life leader because she is able to unlock the hidden potential in people who may not even believe they have any potential. I think I might have some of that. But there is something else there to. Something that just sticks to people without requiring effort. I don't know what it is but I seem to have a lot of it. I would call it charm, but there is something more to it. Kind of like the taste of you're favorite food. Something you know and love deeply. But it isn't that either. I don't know if I'll ever know. I don't know if I'll ever need to either. So whatever! This moment is the first moment of the rest of my life! So I gotta take the bull by the horns!

Well... That's the theory anyways...

Ok so I'm behind one post

"Campfire Song Song" by Spongebob Squarepants

I'm behind one post and I'm leaving for speech in 30 minutes so I don't have much time so first things first. I don't have much time either. This song perfectly represents all of the rushin' I've been doing! I'm trying so hard to get this post done in time!! My plan was to do one before and after speech! And I want to stick to the plan!!

STICKTOTHEPLANSTICKTOTHEPLANSTICKTOTHEPLAN!!!!!
Don't you hate it when you plan everything out. and then you end up in a rush because Father Time is trolling the hell out of you by speeding up an extra hour for no reason whatsoever!
STOP IT FATHER TIME!!!!!!
I mean really, it's not even excusable because it's not daylight savings time!!! I want this post to be long and meaningful but... buuuuuuttttt..... BUUUUUUUTTTTTTTT.
sorry. I had to.
Well. That ends my post! I used a popular meme-y thing so I guess that makes up for the whole rushing my butt offedness of this post. Hey! I finished in time too!
VICTORY IS MINEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

I had a long day.

"The Incredits" by Michael Giacchino, Tim Simonec

There have been longer days. But this was one of those event filled good long days (Like this song, long and eventful). It was one of those days where you do so much that you worry you'll forget after you take a nap before you put it on your blog. So, even though I really REALLY need a nap right now. I'll blog post for you, because I want you to get every detail I can remember while it's fresh in my head.

Ok, so I didn't do really anything all day, except try to work on my psych project. But trying to get my laptop to work with my school's WiFi is the most frustrating experience. The computer starts acting funny and asks me questions like "Were are the internets? I can't find them?"

image
Maybe if you stayed online for more than 3 seconds you'll find your internets!
Don't worry, I'm not going to not do it. I'll just do it after my post-blog-nap.

So other than that difficulty the rest of my day was pretty cool. I watched some movies with Mr. Meerkat and then I scheduled classes for college. The process was so much easier because I was a freshman. The scheduling dude was all like:

"Gen ed here, gen ed there, required theatre, K you're all set!"
Then I went to McMuffin's WISE presentation. It was about training the doggies to help the children, so it was incredibly cute!

D'awwww!
Then the REAL fun started. Jenny Craig's presentation is tomorrow and I have to act in it. Today was a rehearsal of all of the scenes she directed. I got to see my classmates acting you know, the usual ones: Jub-Jub, Broadway, Shayndel. HOWEVER. There was one actress in denial who I haven't seen on stage before. If I did, it was middle school and I have already brain bleached the concept of "middle school". It was Panini! She can REALLY act! As much as she denies it, she has the ability. I don't know if she thinks her acting is unrealistic or what but she is definitely capable of producing a powerful performance. This was the first time seeing her scene in Jenny Craig's Presentation and I was majorly impressed. And she got into character quickly too!

BAM!
But we can't give her too much credit... The Win is still infecting people.

So for the last portion of my day I was evaluating Kadancer's WISE presentation. It was about speech pathology for children. She had a great presentation. She had us with straws in our mouths and cherry flavored tongue depressors. She did a great job demonstrating her WISE experience!

Wait. This post is far from over. CHERRY FLAVORED TONGUE DEPRESSORS? WHY ARE THEY FLAVORED??? THEY'RE MADE OF WOOD! HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO ADD FLAVOR TO WOOD???? WOOD IS WHAT TREES ARE MADE OF. DOES THAT MEAN TREES WITH FLAVORED BARK EXIST OUT IN THE GREAT BEYOND?? BUT REALLY WHAT IS THE POINT I DON'T GET IT TONGUE DEPRESSORS ARE THOSE THINGS THAT DOCTORS USE TO CHECK YOUR MOUTH FOR ONLY HALF A SECOND WHY FLAVOR THEM?! I MEAN I GUESS THEY ARE EDIBLE BUT STILL!! WHY LICK A TONGUE DEPRESSOR WHEN YOU COULD BE LICKING A LOLLIPOP. IS IT SOME MOVEMENT WHERE INSTEAD OF LICKING SUGAR, WE ARE LICKING WOOD?! I DON'T GET IT I DON'T GET IT I DON'T GET IT!!!!

WHY LICK THIS FOR ENJOYMENT?
umm, eww.
WHEN YOU COULD BE LICKING THIS!?
YES.

Flavored tongue depressors... It's absurd!
K. Now that's out of my system. I'll take a two hour nap and binge work on my Psych when I wake. Tally Ho!

OOOOOOHHHHH BOOY!

"B4U (Rising Sun mix)" by NAOKI with J-RAVERS

Ok, If you have played Hottest Party, you know this song isn't the imfamously IMPOSSIBLE TO BEAT Super Samurai. It's actually titled B4U. Spotify messed up. You thought that wasn't possible? Well. It is.

Good. Now that that's cleared up, why this super hardcore super ravey song with violent rhythm? Well, when I tell you the topic, you will understand. Oooooooooh you are going to understand so well that your whole body will be electrocuted by that "I feel you brother" feeling. Two words. Candy... You can guess the rest. WOOOOOOOO BOOY WHERE SHOULD I START? From the beginning of course...

So let me tell you the plotline. You are Toffette, an adorable little girl who goes around helping people out. How do you help these people, by matching candy of course! However, as the story goes on, you learn that Toffette is really a spawn of Satan who haunts your dreams and turns you into masochistic nightmarish shell of your former self.

This child will haunt your dreams until you die.
You see, she keeps choosing to help people no matter how difficult the task is. And YOU have to do all the dirty work. So you go through the first level, then the second, then the third and you are all like:

This game is so easy! I'm the best!
But then you hit your first pitfall around level 25.

image
Overconfidence karma...
So you lose all your lives and you keep trying and you lose all your lives and you keep trying and you lose all your lives and you-

STOP THE MADNESS
THEN YOU SUCCEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU BEAT CAAANDDY CRUUUSH!!!!

And you win by a large margin when this happens...
But then you realize there are still 267 more levels to go... AND COUNTING. But after going through that hell you feel like you've conquered the worst and it's no longer an uphill battle.

Bring it.
So you play, and you beat more levels and you hit another pitfall and you try and try and get through but then you realize that as you go on there are only going to be more obstacles but you keep playing because the game looks so easy to beat with all that candy sittin' around to the point where you don't know what to expect anymore and I know this is a long sentence but just thinking about Candy Crush just makes me hold my breath and not pause ever when I type because it is that freaking stressful.

So now you're trapped playing this supposedly easygoing game that is actually impossible.

I know what you're thinking. "It's titled Candy Crush! How difficult could it be?" No. But you don't understand. The candy pops up at random so you have to choose your moves carefully. Chocolate balls are The Jesus. Combine them with stripes, but don't spend too many moves trying to do that, you still have 748,203,726,342,346,723,867,830 jellies to pop. And sometimes the stripes sit juuuust diagonally from the chocolate ball just to taunt you. Or you'll have one move left and one jelly left and it is futile. Or there will be chocolate blocks on the screen and you'll have to debate over whether to free the candy prisoners or kill those wretched squares of chocolate.

Candy Crush is a wretched cycle. If you don't play it, GOOD. If you do:

May God have mercy on your soul!

What a nice day it is!

"Same Old Drag" by The Apples In Stereo

Ahhhhhh. Why did I choose this song for today? Well. My day was trance-like. I was in the zone...

It was one of those days... You know. Saturday. I slept in. I was in kaleidoscope mode allllll day. I felt enriched and relaxed and oh so creative! And I had three waffles with an omelette for breakfast. I had Easy Mac for lunch. And I made up the best stir fry EVER for dinner just now. I am so zen right now you don't even understand. I am so zen that I could get someone into a car accident.

I'm the GPS right now.
I spent the first half of my day in bed but awake in meditation yet somewhat half asleep as well. Then when I did really wake up, I casually began my Psych Project. Which is a freakin' miracle. This rarely ever happens. When I do schoolwork I usually have to be in a crazy, hyper-agressive, even EXPLOSIVE mood.

BEGONE!!! FOUL BEAST OF LORE!!!!!!!!!!
But today, I was so chill about starting my psych project...

I conquer with grace...
So then when dinner time came around I basically took all the leftovers in the fridge and threw them in a pan. The result was terrifying. But I was all like zen-yolo. So I honestly didn't give any flying toothpicks as to how the food looked.

image
I lied. I was actually kinda afraid to eat it.
But you know what I did? I trusted my zen. It turned out to be the most delicious stir fry I ever tasted. I might even cook a second batch for myself. It just goes to show that being zen pays off in the most major ways. So just relax and get your creativity going!

This cat should help.
